Puppy bookends |
After introducing the pups to the water sprinkler, the next logical step was to let them frolic in water. Here they are, as usual led by mama, taking to water like proverbial ducks. The pictures speak for themselves - fun was had by all:
Mama shows them how it's done |
The Firecracker Quintet hits the pool |
Effortlessly in |
Effortlessly out |
Retrieving the mini water bottle |
Goldie practising for the real thing |
The more, the merrier |
Just hanging out keeping cool |
And always, mama is never far away |
Their little wet faces are too cute! I'm so glad to see that they love the water -- Puget Sound will soon be close at hand for Ferris, with big sister Mica to demonstrate the finer points of retrieving :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is not from Claudia. It is from her BFF, Tia (who can't figure out how to post). Wet or dry, clean or dirty (love the little bits of mud in these pics), the pups are fantastic and have entertained me ever since the first post. Wendy -- you are doing an amazing job. What wonderfully socialized little people these pups seem to be. Can't wait for Claudia to bring home her wonder-dog.
ReplyDeleteThey are true water babies - get as muddy as can be, but they seem to be 'wash and wear' and look quite presentable when dry. If you could see how dirty they get - we have very little grass left (wonder why?) - it's almost like magic when they come up all white and fluffy.
ReplyDeleteWe are so looking forward to Claudia and Larry meeting their special blessing on Saturday for the first time.
I have so enjoyed doing the blog, although I must confess it has taken on a life of its own - almost like a 6th pup - except it doesn't poop!
Wendy...will you be expecting US to start posting beginning next week :-0 Hmmm...maybe a Facebook page dedicated to watching the Firecracker Five as they grow. I think I need to explore that....
