Today started as usual with puppy gruel followed by a top-up from Mom, and then a romp in the garden. Early morning garden sessions have their own particular pleasure: Dew-laden grass has a feel all of its own and the pups frolic with gay abandon.
At six weeks, the pups have developed and strengthened their muscles. Goldie could practically kick-start a Boeing!
And Blue Boy demonstrates just how useful these strong thighs are:
I love the pleading look on Blue Boy's fuzzy face. He is practicing his physic powers of staring at a ball until it moves toward him. He is one handsome golden retriever, for sure!
ReplyDeleteOur Quintet is living the good life -- romping on dew-laden grass, eating puppy gruel serenaded by Wendy's joyful singing, and drinking momma's milk from a chorus line. I'm working hard to master Ipi 'Ntombi for one special puppy.
ReplyDeleteYou guys crack me up and inspire to blog more. The pups are finally asleep after I serenaded them with a lullaby. You need to hone singing skills!!!
